Celebrating The Little Moments Of 2020
If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s to appreciate the little moments in life and to celebrate all these moments that make us smile. There is a lot of love to share, a lot of thanks to give and many celebrations (big or small) to be had. It has been a privilege to be a part of all of these memorable moments over the past year.
In a moment of sharing and celebrating, we thought we’d let you in on our top 10 moments of 2020 that have given us something to smile about.
1. New local florist studios.
We’re joining your neighbourhood. We now have ten of our very own floral studios across Australia, from Sydney, to Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and everywhere in between. Our newest studio opened just last month on the Sunshine Coast!
2. Pop-up Valentine’s Day shop.
We tried something new this year and ran a pop-up shop in Brisbane’s Queen’s Plaza for Valentine’s Day. Our signature long-stemmed red rose gift boxes were sold directly to customers from the shop.
3. A Roses Only wedding.
Weddings are always a big celebration, and although there have been many postponed dates this year, Roses Only Kayla was lucky enough to have hers. A florist herself, she designed her own bouquet with Roses Only flowers and how beautiful does Kayla look?
4. Roses Only vans hitting the roads.
We now own our own fleet of Roses Only Vans hitting the road to deliver your flowers and gifts. If you see us in your suburb, give us a wave or snap a picture of the van and tag us on Instagram @rosesonlygroup.
5. An exciting collaboration with a fashionista.
We partnered with Klarna this year to launch a new collection of luxury bouquets - Kellie Hush x Roses Only. Created by Kellie Hush herself, former chief in editor of Harper’s BAZAAR and Klarna content editor, these arrangements were designed with a beautiful mix of flowers and colours that will bring pure joy to someone when gifted.
6. A Roses Only baby.
One thing that definitely hasn’t stopped is the number of new babies we’ve been welcoming to the world! Robyn, our Product Manager, had her baby girl Riley just before Mother’s Day. Kasey, Sales Manager, and Andrew, Finance Director, are also due in the new year so there are so many more adorable pics coming soon!
7. New cocktail-inspired fruit hampers.
With summer on the horizon, we launched these new cocktail-inspired fruit hampers as the perfect gift to share with friends and family. An ideal gift to celebrate occasions of all kind, you’ll find Gin Fizz with Applewood Gin, Citrus Twist with Belvedere and Sparkling Moments with a bottle of Moet.
8. Getting to know our neighbours on the Central Coast.
After opening our local florist studio in West Gosford on the Central Coast, it’s been great to get involved with the local suburbs. We’ve supported the Trojans, attended events and shared in promoting local cafes and businesses. We’re excited for more joint ventures coming soon!
9. Multiple Roses Only birthdays have been celebrated.
Of course, with another full year around the sun there have been plenty of birthdays to celebrate. Your special day in the office is spent with birthday cupcakes, a jolly (albeit awkward) rendition of Happy Birthday and a spectacular bouquet of flowers. Spoilt!
10. Delivering beautiful flowers & fresh stems all over Australia!
We have a great relationship with suppliers and we’re happy to now be working with more local farmers and flower gardens to produce your beautiful arrangements with quality stems.
So this is just a little note to remember that whatever the year throws at you, make sure you celebrate all of the little moments in life. That can be anything from making the bed every day, doing your washing before it rains, finishing a jigsaw to passing an exam, running a marathon or buying your first house.
And don’t forget to share your #onlygift moments with us over on Instagram @rosesonlygroup. Look out for your local Instagram page launching soon too for more content straight from our florists!
